A film art department assistant divides her time between the set and the hospital where her father is staying. When the crew sends her to collect a large soup bowl from a props warehouse, her father insists on coming along. They slip out of the hospital at night, turning a work errand into an unexpected journey from the New Territories to Macau and Okinawa.
