About the film
Fujino draws comics for her class newspaper. When her teacher asks her to share the space with Kyomoto, a reclusive student who stays away from school, Kyomoto’s artwork stirs her competitive spirit. Their shared love of drawing gradually turns rivalry into a creative bond.
Adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name, the film marks Kiyotaka Oshiyama’s feature-length directorial debut and Studio Durian’s first feature production.
